Respect the Dignity of Illiterate Girls

International Day of the Girl Child 2026

Network Assistance for Illiterate Persons' Development Africa (Network AID Africa) call is simple and important.

It's not a request. It's a must: respect the dignity of illiterate girls.

In Solidarity with Victims and Survivors of FGM

Network AID Africa, today as always, we are in solidarity with victims and survivors of FGM.

Progress has been made compared to where it was before now. However, the challenge we FGM face now is not norms and culture, it about protecting vote. It's easy to say End FGM, invest in Girls; the act is different.

Politicians commit to banning FGM, yet support ceremonies of other children, not their own.

Stop gambling girls and women life for vote hide under norms and culture.

International Day of the Girl Child

At Network AID Africa, through our Girls Link Initiative through Sport, we celebrate the resilience of all girls, especially Illiterate girls and girls with disabilities.

We can only imagine how many illiterate girls are invited to this year's IDGC.

Happy International Day of the Girl Child
