My First Day Internship Experience
Upon hearing that I was supposed to start my internship on Tuesday, I had mixed feelings about what my first day would be like. I was skeptical, nervous, and full of questions in my head. Questions like, " How are they going to welcome me at the office? Who and who am I going to meet? Will I be able to work there? Am I going to stay there till the end of my internship? Are they going to be friendly?. I even had a conversation based on that with my husband, i told him that i was'nt sure they are going to welcome me openly, and the he told me that " You should believe in yourself and what you are capable of doing, just go there and be you, nothing else" these where the exact words of my husband, and it immidiately build some amount of confidence in me.

My First Field Experience Representing Network AID Africa on a Training Organised by FoRUT on Policies & Laws on Women
The SOAA addresses rape, aggravated rape, and sexual penetration of minors. He also talked about the Registration of Customary Marriage Act 2009. And his last discussion was on (F.G.M) Female Genital Mutilation. This is my first experience learning. Most of the things talked about in the training were unknown to me. Have never known them in my life. I was happy I went for the training. The interaction and experience were wonderful because being around knowledgeable, elderly, experienced people in society actually helps the younger generation to have ideas on things happening around them and in their society.
